Sportsmanship & Sponsorship

Sportsmanship means being gracious both in victory and in defeat.

“I’ve worked really, really hard for this moment … this year has been a dream come true,” commented 19-year-old new Canadian tennis star, Bianca Andreescu after winning her first grand slam title in the final match of the U.S. Open in New York, 6-3, 7-5. She complimented her opponent, Serena Williams, as a “true legend of this sport.”  And Ms. Williams applauded the winner for playing an “unbelievable” match. As she said, “Congratulations, I’m so proud and happy for you.”

If only our world leaders could be as civilized, tactful and diplomatic.

And media coverage is an excellent way to court celebrity endorsement opportunities. Countless corporations have used our Los Angeles media coaching to Ready sports stars as celebrity spokespeople. For example, Olympic Gold Synchronized Swimmers for Max Factor waterproof makeup and VISA and Olympic Gold Medalist Summer Sanders for Mars. Plus, tennis great Tracy Austin and beach volleyball Silver Medalist Mike Dodd for Acuvue contact lenses with UV protection as well as the fastest woman in the world, the late Flojo for the Milk Advisory Board.

The leaders of tomorrow are learning their lessons well.
